Music notation software is a wonderful way to write out ideas, play them back, input your compositions, create exercises, arrange music, and much more. Following last year’s success Music Literacy Ireland is once again collaborating with Francis Long to take you through the fundamentals of MuseScore from setting up a score to creating a single line melody, through to writing SATB as open and closed scores. This workshop will allow you to navigate the primary functions of MuseScore with ease whether you are a novice or already have some basic knowledge of the software.
You will:
- Be introduced to MuseScore
- Be taken through the software step by step
- Have an opportunity to practice learning points
- Have an opportunity to ask questions on the day and later in the follow-up session
- Be given a document with key steps for your reference to take home
- Be part of a small group of no more than 15 people to accommodate learning
Having had time to explore MuseScore after the session, there will be a follow-up session, free of charge, for attendees to check back with any questions they may have.
